One of those days

I am having a hard day today. It seems that just when things are looking up for my daddy that something else happens. Today his blood sugar is over 400 and one of the chambers of his heart is out of sync with the other ones. He has been taking medicine for a while to keep everything in sync but with his surgery and all of this, he hasn't been on it. They started him back on it yesterday afternoon and I was hoping that would fix it. But it didn't, so now they are going to shock his heart to hopefully get everything back in sync. While all of this I believe is not a set back it is still scary in a way. There is a song by Casting Crowns that has meant a lot over the past two weeks.
Praise You in This Storm
words by Mark Hall/music by Mark Hall and Bernie Herms

I was sure by now,God, that You would have reached down
and wiped our tears away,
stepped in and saved the day.
But once again, I say amen
and it's still raining
as the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain,
"I'm with you"
and as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise
the God who gives and takes away.

Chorus:
And I'll praise you in this storm
and I will lift my hands
for You are who You are
no matter where I am
and every tear I've cried
You hold in your hand
You never left my side
and though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm

I remember when I stumbled in the wind
You heard my cry to You
and raised me up again
my strength is almost gone how can I carry on
if I can't find You
and as the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain
"I'm with you"
and as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise
the God who gives and takes away

Chorus

I lift my eyes onto the hills
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth
I lift my eyes onto the hills
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth

Chorus

I am so ready for my daddy to get over this so that he can send me 50 emails a day, call me when it's bad weather or just give me a hard time about things. I am ready to have my daddy back.
